This is a typeface I created based on a modular grid. I set the grid and formulated rules (such as each character must have a 3 pt. stroke, characters cannot extend more than 2 pixels outside the yellow base circle, each small character circle must be 2 pixels from the base circle and 2 pixels from any other line...) for the shapes to follow on the grid in order to create the character. Using circles, half circles and lines, I designed each letter, number and character to fit on the base circle using the formula. The pink lines and circles interact with one another without touching to create a character. The name of the typeface is 'Just Peachy' due to the bubbly, soft, and summery feel the rounded letters give off.
