For this project, we had to choose a chair and a typeface that best captures the form, feel, and personality of that chair, then make posters using the letter forms. I chose the Barcelona Chair and the typeface Aviano Didone. Three aspects of the chair that I wanted to highlight were the curvilinear legs of the chair, the striped leather backing of the chair, and the grid-like structure of the cushions. To showcase each aspect, I picked out a letter I thought best represented them and decided on "Q" for the curvilinear legs, "W" for the stripes, and "B" for the grid-like structure of the cushions.
