(is warped)

This is a series of digital posters referring to the twitter war between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump during the 2016 run for President. I pulled a number of tweets from both candidates and used type, lines, and color to warp the words to where they are almost illegible. The eye strain the reader receives when trying to detect the words is a reference to the headache the election caused for all people as we witnessed the two candidates argue back and forth on twitter, almost in a pre-teen manner. The contrast between the white and black emphasizes the extreme division and polarization of the two parties. The lines are warped, twisted, bulged, and modified in a way that affects the letters so that they appear to be distorted. This is a representation of the how political figures can twist, distort and warp truth, ideals, and values to gain popularity and votes.
